| IMF holds back US$ 250m aid By Amantha Perera in Washington
The second tranche of the IMF funded US $ 250 million stand-by facility will be further
delayed till a new government is in place early next year, according to high ranking IMF
officials in Washington. "Yes, it is very likely to be delayed," a senior IMF
official who oversees the Asia Pacific region told The Sunday Leader.
