“Unbowed and Unafraid”
A massive sculpture of Lasantha Wickrematunge, slain editor of The Sunday Leader stands tall outside the MQ forecourt in Geneva. The sculpture was constructed by artist Peter Sandbichler who was inspired to portray the assassinated editor, having visited the offices of The Sunday Leader after Lasantha was killed early this year.
Will this ever happen with a sri lankan politician, who works “really hard” for the benefit of their fellow man-kind.
They can only erect sculptures for themselves and their families;
