Best cash manager

HSBC Sri Lanka has been voted Best Domestic Cash Manager in Sri Lanka in the Euromoney Cash Management Poll 2009.
This marks the second award for HSBC Sri Lanka in 2009, having won the Best Corporate Internet Bank award earlier this year. HSBC has received a total of 24 cash management related awards in the Asia Pacific region from a variety of global and regional industry publications this year.
As one of the strongest cash management banks in Asia, HSBC has pioneered a consultative approach to cash management, ensuring a more collaborative process in which customer needs are the main focus in delivering tailor made cash management solutions.
Now in its 9th year, the poll recognises the leading cash management banks in the industry. Cash managers, treasurers and financial officers worldwide were asked to indicate: which international banks they currently use most for their cash management services globally, regionally and domestically, and were also asked to rate the services provided by their lead cash management bank across various categories on a sliding scale.
In addition to winning the crown for the overall Best Cash Management Bank across the region, the Bank also scored high results domestically across 11 markets and was voted number one in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, and Taiwan for in-country cash management services.
Achieving this ranking reaffirms HSBC as the leading provider of integrated cash management solution across the region, exemplifying the Bank’s profile in global, regional and local markets. HSBC Sri Lanka Global Payments and Cash Management Head Palan Rajanathan said, “We are honoured to have been voted by clients as the ‘Best Domestic Cash Manager’ in Sri Lanka in recognition of our commitment to the delivery of tailor made cash management solutions for businesses across a wide range of industries and segments.
