Sampath p.a.t. up 36%

Sampath Group in the third quarter ended September 30, 2009 saw operating profits grow by 35.8% year on year (y.o.y.) to Rs. 537.1 million. The Bank in the nine months ended September 30, 2009 saw operating profits grow by 26.3% y.o.y. to Rs. 1,383.5 million

P.a.t. increases 25%

Hatton National Bank Plc Group in the first nine months of the year saw profit after tax (p.a.t.) increase by 25% year on year to Rs. 2.65 billion.

P.a.t. down 2%

Commercial Bank Group in the nine months ended September 30, 2009 saw p.a.t. decline by 2.29% year on year to Rs. 2.986 billion.

P.a.t. up 20%

Nations Trust Bank Group in the nine months ended September 30, 2009 saw p.a.t. increase by 20% year on year to Rs. 505 million.
