UNPers Unhappy Over Fonseka’s Premature Resignation
Senior United National Party (UNP) members have expressed their displeasure over General Sarath Fonseka’s premature resignation.
Highly placed sources told The Sunday Leader that the UNP leadership had adviced Fonseka against submitting his resignation letter to the President immediately and at least not until the President announced the dates for the presidential election.
“Initially, Fonseka was to hand over his resignation on November 10, but with Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe going to India, it was temporarily put on hold, and a decision was to be made on a fresh date for Fonseka to submit his resignation once Wickremesinghe returned to the island. But to the surprise of many, including the UNPers, the former Army Chief submitted his resignation earlier than decided,” sources said. (MM)

AND importantly you have mention about IDPs sir why is sudden love towards TAMILS and I DPs ( what about the IDP’s who were chased out from Jaffna a decades ago?? ) didn’t you say about Tamils and Muslim that they can’t expect much from sri lanka and this nation belongs to Sinhalese alone ,then sir what was your plan to catch those LTTe cadres who were among the IDPs ,even the inside IDP s CAMP, there were some tigers and didn’t they escape and go as asylum, seekers and gave trouble to sri lanka , WOULD YOU ADVISE THE IDP s return without clearing mind,? for that purpose with international help our forces are working day and night, and you have mention about the coup and not trusting you .if it’s true, even you would have done the same ,and if untrue SOME BIG POWERS would have made rumor with the regime change, purpose. Why can’t it be work of , AMERICA ‘s CIA (where YOU ARE A GREEN CARD HOLDER AND your DOUGHTIER STUDIES AND LIVE there/ and the so called LTTE transitional government leader and & co ,who have power of financing Hillery clinton and President Obama for their election campaign, even tiger proxies through Hillery MADE ALLEGATIONS OF RAPE , TO SRI LANKA FORCES.)again, sir most sri lankan want to KNOW when $$YOU were in AMERICA$$ they DHS (Americas department of homeland securities) wanted TO question you regarding sri lankas DEFENSE secretary GR about war crime ( * Don’t know why they Americans want to make war crime charge, against GOTABAYA RAJAPAKSE if he didn’t play major role in defeating LTTE*)you have informed to the government 48 HOURS later ,why you took so much of time ???, AFTER ALL you are being a wise person, why you DID NOT inform immediately?? ,why you didn’t contact the Embassy, if you were loyal to SRI LANKA?? ,then again, THE AMERICANS WOULD NOT HAVE ASK YOU QUESTION IF THEY WON’T GET information what they wanted FROM YOU,AND THEY WOULD HAVE DENIED IT ,when the government asked explanations!
THEY WOULD NOT HAVE LET YOU COME HERE,IF THEY really wanted information without you leaking to them, if the WHOLE STORY was TRUE !!,if it was not true, you just created story to become A HERO with some motive ,then you talk about media freedom ,are you referring to medias who were writing against Forces and the war, human right ,or journalist who is in Geneva to betray SRI lANKA or the people who wrote against the MIG which played vital part in the war and completely paralyzed LTTE’s movement and destroyed heavy weapons of LTTE in the war victory You have mention about promoting present Army commander against your advice ,sir when you were appointed also there were oppositions to your appointment too ,you were 5th place in the list and ONLY 12 days were left for your retirement , didn’t PRESIDENT and the Defense secretary take wise decision by selecting you ?,Karanagoda and Roshan Gunathilaka,?sir you say IDP should be given freedom go to there relatives ,the suicide bomber who got the help of your cook’s help to assassinate you , were in relatives place and the cook were at your house, you won’t forget it. in that background how without identifying the LTTE ‘ers among the IDP can be left to go out when the people who called you even you are NOT capable of leading A SALVATION ARMY and ALL forces are GONAS and they were not willing accept the war victory and were kept opening their eagle eyes ,to see an incident of LTTE attack and underestimate war victory. how do you see that? again you talked about winning peace, what you mean by peace you want to, get the peace by satisfying TNA,MANOganesan ,they are asking for selfdetermination,Rauf hakeem want to merge The north and east which was demerged by supreme court ?or you want to give Transitional government for AMERICAS RUDRAKUMARAN leader of LTTe goverment ? AND FINALLY YOU WANT To scrap executve presidency ,sir you know if executive power were not there with MR,do you thing ,with hung parliament,and propositional system the war would have been won? would not have been parliament toppled? didn’t JVP and UNP tried to topple ? definitely LTTE suppoters locally and internationally with the help of INGO< NGO "S,by buying parliament members , toppled the government.You know how powerful LTTEs and their backers (if LTTE ers can finance AMERICAN presidential candidate our parliamentarians are LOLLY pup for them ,so please clarify, the people have started to thing and talk about all in different angel

Does Genaral work on UNP agenda?
srilanka politics i s a fire play.UNP agenda is much beter than S L F P or any other.present climate is good for mr Fonsaka but mr Rajapaska is lison to india he may changed his idea towards to mr.Fonsaka. Mr Fonsaka also in his team for good and bad .. US, DHS is also watching india interfear in UN because of Indian origian was working for UN. then he was hide matters regarding civilins killing in the name of LTTE Then he resign. but india can not play with USA democratic govt. then it is not good for the honest leader mr.OBAMA
May be,just may be the General didn’t want to take anyone into his deep confidence.It’s not easy to do away with his life experience of being a commander than being a soldier.May be a part of our general public is keen to
see the General performing presidential duties but the whole plan is going to
drag the country into big time mess if this plan is very serious.People are being
led by emotions rather than intelligence and weak politics,never mind who leads it,is playing into this trend.Countries have not developed through this kind of trends.
