Anura Bandaranaike, Chandrika Kumaratunga also faced the same problem with regard to Housing or specifically threat of eviction. Does this smell of a village type mentality as opposed to mature politics. Smacks of ingratitude which is seriously lacking in this country.

In a country where good-for-nothing corrupt Ministers are given housing allowances amounting to Rupees one lakh a month – including to those who already own houses in Colombo – it is very strange that a national hero who liberated the country from the curse of terrorism is left without a roof over his head. More so, when so called Kings and their cohorts go on constructing palaces in every district, a deserving gentleman has to house-hunt at short notice. Anyway, here’s hoping that the victim will soon find himself occupying the “Raja Gedera” .

Mr will do anything under tha sun to elevate himself. He did that to LTTE . He got them to stop the tamils voting and became the Prez. As soon as he became prez. got rid of the LTTE. Now he used Sarath Fonseka to erradicte the LTTE , but the turn is for him.

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely is a quotation by John Emerich Edward Dalberg Act Acton, first Baron Acton (1834–1902), the historian and moralist, who was otherwise known simply as Lord Acton. This saying is very applicable in Sri Lanka especialy since the advent of the presidential system.

GENERAL S.F. should ask a letter in writing. Common law is any one is given at least one month notice. If not ,he should stay, unheeding the order. Let the Govt throw his things out to the road in front of the Media.

Periyalingam your Lingam is too large according to your name.Thats why the Govt cut it down completely as you asked one third of the country to accomodate it. Get in to a boat and go to Australia, if you are not already there. Psycopathic Murderers should be killed not to be petted.
