Standard Chartered Bank (S.C.B.) with Arpico Supercentres/Superstores and Hameedia has launched a ‘Spin & Win’ seasonal bonanza.

S.C.B. credit cardholders will be rewarded with gift vouchers of varying denominations for purchases at the aforesaid establishments. The offer ends on December 31, 2009. S.C.B., Credit Cards Head Sheahan Arasaratnam said, “This festive season too we at S.C.B. have partnered with ‘the best’ to avail our cardholders of valuable rewards.

“We are excited to be joining with S.C.B.’s festive promotion ‘Spin & Win’ this year as it is a win-win situation not only for the cardholder, but also for us,” remarked Arpico Marketing Manager Ms. Avanthi De Zoysa and Hameedia Managing Director Fouzul Hameed.

S.C.B/ is also allegedly the 1st bank in Sri Lanka to offer 0% interest on 18 and 24 months. The Bank has partnered with leading retail outlets ranging from Abans Elite Showrooms, Singer Mega, Damro Furniture, Singer Plus, Modern Homes, SoftLogic Lifestyle Electronics, SoftLogic Max, Swarnamahal Jewellers, AURA White Gold Jewellery, Vogue Jewellers and Colombo Jewellery Stores on a “special” 24 month 0% Instalment Plan. In addition cardholders will be entitled to discounts of up to 15% at selected retail partner outlets.

Further, the bank also offers “deals” travel by partnering Hemas Travels and Mackinnons American Express Travels. For the first time in Sri Lanka, the ‘Easy Settlement Plan’ introduced by S.C.B. will allow a cardholder the facility to travel first and repay in 24 monthly instalments.
