Go green

Mega Lifesciences (M.L.) has for the first time introduced in Sri Lanka, a product that is suited for weight management and weight control, namely Hi-Green (H.G.).
“Excess body weight is implicated as a risk factor for many different disorders, including heart disease, diabetes, several cancers (such as breast cancer in post menopausal women and cancers of the uterus, colon & kidney), prostate enlargement, female infertility, uterine fibroids & gallstones as well as several disorders of pregnancy, including gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and gestational hypertension,” said M.L. Country Head Praveen Viswakumaran at the H.G. launch.
Packed with 375 mg of active green tea, extracted from 2,000mg of green tea leaves and presented in a capsule form for better palatability & convenience, daily consumption of H.G. for 12 weeks allegedly reduces body fat, while preventing or improving lifestyle related diseases.
According to Viswakumaran, H.G. which contains active green tea extract, botanically known as Camellia Sinensis, is allegedly a good choice for people on a weight-loss programme because it can help them lead a healthier life.
