Flat Earth Crew together with the Mount Lavinia Hotel present Fire & Ice for NYE 2010. Enter a magical fantasy world complete with ice sculptures and flame-burners. Local DJs Praveen, Mackay and Junior will be spinning house, hip hop, and R and B all night long. What’s more, this event is dubbed as one of the more affordable ones, with tickets priced at Rs. 1,500 for men and Rs. 500 for ladies, inclusive of a traditional new year breakfast! One can also head on down to Hikkaduwa; to Mambo’s to be exact. It has no specific New Year’s eve party lined up, but is guaranteed to have a good crowd. The best part is you pay the normal rates as any other night — last year the ladies walked in free!
So if you haven’t decided exactly where you’ll be ushering in the New Year, now’s your chance to examine all the options. One thing’s for sure — you’ll be spoilt for choice!
