Parliament pays tribute to Chandrasekeran

Parliament yesterday paid tribute to Estate Infrastructure Minister and Up Country Peoples Front (UPF) leader P. Chandrasekeran.

Among those who paid their last respects to the late minister were President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara, Ministers, Opposition Parliamentarians and Parliament staff.

The President also expressed his condolences to members of Chandrasekeran’s family, who were present in Parliament yesterday.

52 year old Chandrasekeran died at a private hospital on Friday after suffering from a heart attack.
