Sri Minnal...as you say...The PEOPLE voted for MR to run this country for the next 7 years...

Quite so, the masses have given their votes as gratitude to the Rajapakse family and the opposition need to shut up. If they had any decency they would not even attempt to thwart the masses by putting up any candidates against SLFP.

SLFP must also throw out all the opposition MPs who crossed over claiming to support MR but really just wanting Cabinet perks.
I hope to see 100% of GE votes going to support MR

GOOD! On the Govt. side ofcourse non of those who croosover from the UNP to the Govt. side are going to get any nominations from the ruling party- their fate was decided by the UNP when they crossed over. So they are neither here nor there. They will be considered as their oerformance as Cabinet minsters have not been upto the mark.
On the Govt. side according to information that Mervyn Silva is not getting nominations; Rohitha Bogallaga is a sure case out: The APC bougus Minster uis out: That Prof;type Pweiris is definitely out: PM Wicks after his speeches recently is on the fence, also his age; That young robust go for nothing Nawin fro from Upcountry still undeceided is going to loose the nomination too.
In the sount ofcourse One Rajapakse is on the fence; Several othe r seenuionrs oyut expected to be out on bribery and corruption charges.
If the UNP puts out a good team and go for it in the proper way they can set upa Govt.wi8th a 2/3rd majority. Some MPs in the Govt. side are a write off;take e.i. Media Man, the unhealthy health Man;Foreign affairs total mess(I thought he will come Vancouver for the Winter Olympics with his entire Enseble-family Cla!)

If journalists write artcles like this, they should be banned for life. When the Medamulana constitution is being written following the unprecented victory for the UPFA on Apr 9, it should provide only one news agency for the country and that will be Lake House.

The Elections Commissioner must be made sole government spokesperson because he can pressurised into saying anything.

Sarath Foseka should become the Minister for Bribery and Corruption. Ranil Wickremasinghe should be the Permanent Leader of the Opposition. Somawansa could make a good Minister for History, Culture and Revolution. Mano Ganesan, Rauff Hakeem and and Sambanthan could share the Ministry of the Lost Causes.
