Priests should refrain from making political alliances and comments. I think he should keep to his words and have no politicians visit him in his temple. This priest should be more concerned with spreading Lord Buddha’s word and preeching morality to a society that is obviously going down the drain!

  4. The Valiant Gentleman and Soldier doesnt need a Lawyer, to Arrest someone, specially a civilian, a charge, a warrant is required along with a bailiff. Sarath Fonseka can sue the state for willful and bodily harm and assault. King Mahinda is going cuckoo, he took himself for Duthugemunu. Had a crown made in Russia, the 300 Million arms deal, we could have provided housing and care for the disabled servicemen. But bribes for the arms were included.!!!

We are told that all retired army officers are bound by the army rules and regulations for six months since retirement. SF should have known it or is it that he thought his new friends; the busy buddies of IC would send their armies to his rescue. Otherwise would he dare tell us that he will give evidence against his subordinates that he says committed war crimes when he himself alleged to have committed crimes against the state? He is telling us that he will drive the very people that carried out his orders to docks. What a man!

During his election campaign, SF had threatened to court marshal all army officers that involved in politics, ’when’ he wins the Presidency on 26th. Now it has come to be known that SF has committed the same offence while he was in uniform. We are told SF had collude with the IC, NGOs, Christian Evangelists, the Eelamists and the failed politicians to conspire against the elected leaders of this country.

SF should be questioned about his meeting in foreign embassies and foreign countries with foreign agents and opposition law makers while he was CDS. SF should be questioned about all those inappropriate things that came out from his foul mouth. SF should be questioned about those white flags etc that he uttered to complicate the defence secretary and the president for war crimes during his presidential campaign. He should be tried in court marshal for treason and divulging state secrets.

You are right. The alarm bells should have rung when he got the majority in Tamil areas. There must have been some plot with the Tamils against the govt. He should be investigated.

  7. Leela, you are correct, it is better to think of the present situation of the country, but you idiots are going writin that whatever and whoever goes the MR crowed are labelled as culprits. One day very soon when your back gets burning you will realise, where do all Srilanks stands. Better hope that God save Srilanka. Truth
