Battle Of The Maroons

The 81st Battle of The Maroons between Ananda College and Nalanda College will be played at the SSC grounds on March 6 and 7.

A novel feature this time is that etickets are being issued online and all what one has to do is to produce the e-receipt and a photocopy of the ID Card or passport or driving license at the SSC premises on the 6th and 7th and obtain the ticket.

The eticket sales are scheduled to close at midnight on March 3.

The first ticket for the 81st Battle of the Maroons was sold to Big Match Joint Committee Co-Chairman Upali Dharmadasa. This was done on February 18 at an auspicious time at the Nalanda College, Language Center. Representatives from both schools, including the joint committee members, principals, prefects and other well wishers were present on the occasion.
