Aluvihare Asks President for Security Against Assasination Plot

UNP Matale District parliamentarian and district leader Ranjith Aluvihare has asked the President for security, stating there is an attempt to assassinate him.

Aluvihare has reportedly informed the President and IGP Mahinda Balasuriya that a group of thugs have already been brought to Kandalama to carry out the assassination.

    There is no reason why the president should consider security for his opponents, if a few of them are walled in or incapacitated by Karuna’s patented weapons, this would pave the way for a 2/3rd majority. HIde boys, HIde, play hide and seek. It should be a public plebiscite and may the capable win.

    He should provide for his own security. Government should not be responsible for every dick, tom and harry who says their lives are in danger.
