Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka, the nation’s leader in Human Resource Management has embarked on yet another initiative aimed at developing future human talent. The institute is to conduct a career guidance workshop to help youngsters take the correct decisions at vital junctions in their careers.
An expert on the subject, Dharshana Amarasiynghe a dual professional in Marketing and Human Resource Development is to conduct the programme. He is a much loved personality among marketing and HR students. Dharshana is expected to touch on some critical areas for success in making career moves from a very early stage. “Why do some people reach the highest point in their career while others fail? Why are some successful and some not, even with the same qualifications? All these are interesting questions to ask yourself, if you are just about to start your career,” said Dharshana. “There are a few pieces that need to fit perfectly in the jigsaw puzzle to make the best of your career, of course with a little bit of luck” added Dharshana.
