CWC MP Goes Independent

Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) Nuwara Eliya District Parliamentarian V. Radhakrishnan said today (11) that he would act as an independent member in parliament.

However, he has said he would continue to support the government.

Radhakrishnan has told the media that the CWC has neglected his request for a Deputy Ministerial post and that the party has continued to neglect him in party matters.

  1. It is sad that the MP’s representing the Estate Tamils always seek a cabinet post and switch parties at the opportune time.
There was never an honest, principled MP I can think of among then, who worked for the welfare of the people.
