SF was charged for some corrupt acts done in the process of purchasing of arms by the company owned by his son in law. when this was brought to light he said his Son-in-law did not own Hicop . later he said that he did not buy even a rubber eraser through this company. all this became untrue. at the court marshal what he said was that his son in laws company was entitled to do the transaction with the govt which was not accepted. therefore he is not as innocent as you all think of. therefore don’t scolding the President for this. it is unreasonable.

You are correct. What we are now seeing is a perfect case of the ‘equal reaction’.

Good on you. You seem to be knowing some physics as well . Remember” a little learning is a dangerous thing , drink deep ,or taste not the salient springs. A shallow drought intoxicates the mind and drikimg deeply sobers us again “. Bear this in mind when you accuse people without verfying facts .

Hope the reaction to those responsible, starting from this useless and hopeless president to his filthy famiy and goons commences sooner and let it multiply a million fold for the injustice and corrupt behaviour..
We are confident that the whole of Sri Lanka can now see what a filthy leader we have in this president .Just a person not even worth to be called a human for his inhuman treatment to otghers for his personal benefit.
Gutter level may come close to describe this scavenger.

Very true – we shall see the Rajapaksa’s get their punishment in this life… Sri lanka is unforgiving in this respect…

They should have sent Gota to run the army instead of SF – we would have had even more army deserters just like him!

  4. I have a feeling that Anoma is discreetly happy about the outcome. She can now be in the limelight – might even take Sarath’s seat in the parliament. Look at her smiling face. When Sarath is there Anoma does not get any attention.

    Dear SF,
I THINK ITS TIME FOR YOU TO ANSWER FOR YOU TO ALL THOSE INNOCENT WHO SHEAD THEIR LIFES…. THE AGONY THEY WENT THROUGH….

WELL, TIME WILL COME FOR MR & GOTA CO….. IF WE ALL BELIEVE THAT THERE IS GOD!

This man is treated like a common criminal, and is made into an example by the vindictive Rajapaksa regime. This is how the Rajapaksas show gratitude to a man, who helped them get rid of terrorism, which they now brag about. Who will now have the courage to run against any of them? They have made sure that they will reign for generations to come. Fonseka, should have been given some dignity, and treated like a man of some distinction, not a common criminal. To deprive someone of his stature of a simple bed and a fan, shows how ruthless these people are. Shame on the Rajapaksa dictatorship.

Can Kekille Keheliya show us the Constitutional provision and the connected legal provisions that disqualify a Member of Parliament when he is convicted and sentenced by A COURT MARTIAL?

Rajapaksha has forgoten the good thinks this man did to the country. Wait and see same treatment he will get in return may be from his own brothers or the son. we have seen in reality. MR is doing this he got the help of Mangala to come to power then chased him so many close associates were set a side by him one day every thing will burst its not 2 long

WHAT IS THIS MAN KEHELIYA KNOW, HE TOOK OUR VOTE AND CROSSED OVER FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL GAIN AND DEPRIVED OUR VOICE IN PARLIAMENT. MUST ASK MERVIN TO TIE HIM TO A CACTUS TREE.

It was a common believe inside the military that ” Lasnatha Wickramatunge” was killed by the order of Sarath Fonseka by his infamous Motorcycle squad. If its true he may be paying for that numerous sins he had committed while in uniform. People live in Digamdulla area knows what he had done in 1990 by wiping out an entire Tamil village and 1987-88 in Kanthali area during JVP insurrection.

SF is lucky. At least there is a procedure and he still has a chance to escape if he apologizes to the Prez. See what happened to premadasas opponents.

  12. Nilanthi

SF should thank god that he is alive. He ought to swallow his pride humble himself and ask for pardon from President Mahinda in this world. He will benefit spiritually too if he repents for sins he committed as the head of the army killing innocent civilians-unarmed women, children and elderly.

He will then attain NIBANA. Now he is a dog in a cell eating off a plate placed on floor.

Mahinda is a great president – he and his sons reign srilanka for a long time to come.

Dogs must not bark just because they can. At least Welikada has better facilities than Bogambara.

  14. Chinthaka

Responsibility of sending SF into jail custody has to be accepted by JVP (who need something of a militory to get a kick with) and UNP (who were politically bankrupt and searching for any ‘piduru gaha’).

SF, him self being a too arrogant, egoistic person which possibly paved the path to become successful in his militory career big time failed in understanding what needs to become a successful politician.

Therefore, we as a country are much more lucky to hv him ridden off from politics, but we miss a great commander of army, but that’s too in a war time – not during peace. SF is not a peaceful person, he has very little to do with peace.
