The New Cabinet

Following is the full list of the new Cabinet of ministers sworn in by President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (22).

The Cabinet now consists of 59 members.

    What happened to the promise made to the citizens of Sri Lanka with regard to the “size of the Cabinet” during the election campaigns both Presidential and Parliamentary. This is a sad story.

    Only Champika is trusted and he will still deliver. SB and Ekanayake for higher education is essentially a serious joke. Like Raigamaya and Gampolaya, they will have fun. Anura Yapa is somebody who doesn’t understand what constitutes an environment.

    Dear President, this size of Cabinet (59 members) is small for our country, therefore I would suggest to go for a mega cabinet and have more and more ministers as listed below:
