Governing party members of the Sri Lankan parliament today (7) handed in a motion to the Speaker requesting for the appointment of a select committee to probe into UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena.

The motion was signed by 78 governing party members and has called for a select committee to probe Dr. Jayawardena’s alleged involvement in anti-government protests.

The select committee is to investigate whether Dr. Jayawardena has violated the oath taken by legislators where they says they would not support any act that would promote separatism.

it proves that government is ruling the country as the way LTTE ruled Tamils.

      Raj,
So you agreed LTTE rule was dictatorial,eh? what a change from your previous views. Chameleons are known to change their colour to suit the surroundings. So are the Tamil Diaspora.

Thuggery who are among you? Is this the problem we have now? ……What is your comment on SEEPA agreement? Its going to kill all small & medium entrepreneurs in our mother land. India is going to dominate us. You fool .Why cant you all open your mouth on these issues… Bring motions on this? Its true that sri lankans can be deceived very easily. But not every one.

Some are now only waking up to JJ’s antics. He has been toying with LTTE and its former leaders for more than two decades. He is one of the guys from the south who (Prabakaranta kade giya ekkanek)

JJ had some involvement in the past with LTTE leadership but he is not that stupid to organise protest against President Rajapakse with the present situation as the law is totally in th ehands of this regime and under this dictatorship.
This is a plan to weaken the opposition more and more. Now they blame Karu J for a statement he casually made to a paper. There is nothing wrong with the statement. Karu didnt pointed at someone. Karu J himself a Sinhalese leader irrespective his polical views. Dinesh is a good for nothing trash and is Susil like Weerawanse, all playing kudos.
If JJ & Karu are wrong hand them over to CID to probe. Assaulting an MP in the parliament clear show how this govt is running the country. There is an end for everything. and End for this regime is not far, unless president MR change his style and views (and keep his IRC type and dirty mouthed ministers at bay).
