DMC: Flood Situation Improved

The Disaster Management Center (DMC) has stated that the flood situation that prevailed in the country has improved with waters receding in the North Central and East Provinces.

The DMC has stated that the water that flooded most of the roads in the two provinces have also receded.
According to the DMC, there was no danger in visiting any part in the Eastern and North Central Provinces.
The DMC has states that there were only 80 displaced camps remaining as of today and that 4,493 families were being sheltered in those camps.
