Public Warned Of Unprotected Crossings On High Speed Rail Line

The Railway Department has today (16) said that there are over 90 unprotected railway crossings between Galle and Matara where the speed train service has now resumed.

The Department has warned that people would have to be cautiousat unprotected railway crossings between Gall and Matara due to the speed train service, as trains on the ttrack travels at 100kilometers-per-hour.

The new high speed railway track was opened after a lapse of six months.

An accident took place at an unprotected railway crossing during the test run on track a few days back.

Three persons were injured when the speeding test carriage knocked on a bus in Weligama.

    The people have to be cautious about the unprotected railway crossings.In addition to that they have to be more cautious about the government waiting to impose tax on everything possible and also the ministers who are looking for an opportunity to shoot.The Miracle of Asia.
