S’gamuwa Uni Bans Students Unions
The administration of the Sabaragamuwa University has banned all student unions and their activities within the university premises.
Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Mahinda Rupasinghe has said these unions had provoked students into breaching discipline and disrupted academic activities.
He has told the media that functions of students unions and meetings are temporarily banned.
