Govt. To Re-open Closed Hospitals

The government has decided to make arrangements to re-open a large number of hospitals that are currently shut due to a shortage of doctors.

Addressing a public gathering, Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena has said the Ministry would take steps to re-open 97 such government hospitals.

Sirisena has said the hospitals would be provided with the necessary resources to serve the people.

According to the Minister some 80 such hospitals are in the North and Eastern Provinces while the rest are located in several districts.

    Health minister, doing good job.Better than Cementpala. Royal family must release more fund.
