Nippolac Wasana Warama Is A Success
Silicone Coatings (Pvt) Ltd. recently concluded the draw for this year by selecting the grand prize winner, winner of the month “April”, four weekly winners and 19 other winners from the consumers who took part in the Nippolac Wasana Warama promotion. Names of the winners will be published through newspapers before the end of this month after clarifying their identity and eligibility.
The Nippolac Wasana Warama 2011 promotion was successfully conducted from 10th of December 2010 till the 30th of April 2011. Customers who purchased Nippolac paints valued above 5000/- and sent in coupons during this period were selected for the final draw.
According to Silicone Coatings’ General Manager Thusitha Premarathna, the Nippolac Wasana Warama promotion has multiplied sales and the company expects to launch a new campaign in December this year. “The paint industry is growing fast as a result of the boom in construction that is taking place across the island. Nippolac is a well recognized brand with high penetration in the rural sector, which is supported by a wide-spread dealer network,” he said.
Although the increase in prices of raw materials compelled Silicone Coatings to increase their prices during the recent past, there has been no change in the purchasing pattern, explained Premarathna.
Chief Marketing Consultant Ajith Medis said, “We enjoy 80 percent of the paint market down south. If you take the entire country Nippolac is the second in terms of market share. Quality and the trust in excellence have been the reasons for its success.”
