No Elections For Two LG Bodies
The Elections Department is to make a final decision on the date to hold local government elections two bodies when the Elections Commissioner meets with secretaries of political parties tomorrow (1).
While elections for 23 remaining local government bodies are scheduled to be held on October 8, elections for the Pudukuduirippu Pradeshiya Sabha and the Maritimepattu Pradeshiya Sabha are to be postponed.
Deputy Elections Commissioner M.M. Mohammed has told the media that the final decision regarding on holding elections for these two local government bodies will be made after tomorrow’s meeting with the party general secretaries.
Every body knows based on the past election results, srilankan government will win all municipal seats. UNP is dead snake, JVP is out of touch with masses. So who will win the elction? obviously Mahinda and his brothers.
