Suite Of Prizes From Seylan

Seylan Bank plc has added a range of gifts to its suite of product offerings, including the chance to win a Rs. 15 million luxury house within the next six months.

Known as “Thagi Pita Thagi,” among the other prizes on offer in this Seylan Bank rewards scheme that ends in April is also a chance to win cash worth Rs. one million monthly for the next six months and a host of other electronic and electrical goods such as LCD TVs and laptops, home theatre systems, washing machines plus motor cycles, gas cookers and sofa sets also being among those prizes on offer.
The Bank’s Chairman Eastman Narangoda described the rewards scheme as being innovative to reporters at its launch on Monday.
It offers eight products under one umbrella and will throw up 10 monthly winners beginning from next month, he said.
Seylan’s Deputy General Manager Marketing Tilan Wijeyesekera said that the scheme caters to the gaps in the market. This goes beyond offering rewards to the traditional current account and savings account holders. The rewards scheme encapsulates a portfolio of products and not just a limited number of products, he said. It covers not just its existing customers, but also the new ones. The rewards offered also include celebrating milestones such as when one gets married or reaches the age of 60.
Additionally, coinciding with the kick off to this  rewards programme, two persons, one from Warakapola and the other from Padaviya have had won cash prizes worth Rs. 100, 000 each with another eight winners for a similar value of prizes waiting in the sidelines to also collect their prizes.
