Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB), the premier private sector commercial bank opened the 225th & 226th Customer Centres in Atchchuveli and Kodikamam recently.
The bank now has a total of 18 Customer Centres in the Jaffna peninsula. The Chief Guest for the occasion was HNB Managing Director/CEO Rajendra Theagarajah.
Human Resources & Administration Deputy General Manager J. R. P. M. Paiva and a large number of senior bank officials, government officials, local businessmen and customers were present at the event.
Theagarajah in his speech said, “HNB has demonstrated its commitment to the people of the Northern Province since the 1970s through its main customer centre in Hospital Road, Jaffna. With the country’s 30 year old civil conflict finally ending the bank has consistently taken a number of initiatives to bring normalcy back into the lives of the people living in the conflict hit areas. Over the years HNB has strengthened its operations in the peninsula by opening customer centres in Jaffna, Chunnakkam, Nelliady, Stanley Road, Manipay, Point Pedro, Chavakachcheri, Therunelvely, Mannar, Kilinochchi, Nanattan, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya, Velanai, Chankanai, Kaithady, Atchchuveli & Kodikamam.
