UNP Protesters At The Receiving End
Two days after a JVP protest came under a tear-gas attack by the police on Friday it was the turn of the UNP. The police used water cannons and tear gas to remove the UNP protestors as the demonstrators blocked rush hour traffic in the evening. Pictures by Thusitha Kumara and Asoka Fernando
