C4 to release another video on Lanka

Britain’s Channel 4 television is set to release another video on Sri Lanka this month and the video is said to contain new evidence of war crimes committed in the country.

The Channel said that the new video to be aired on March 14 will also have contemporaneous documents, eye-witness accounts, photographic stills and videos relating to how exactly events unfolded during the final days of the civil war.

Last year Channel 4 broadcast Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields, a critically-acclaimed and RTS Award winning forensic investigation into the events of the last few weeks of the decades-long war between the government of Sri Lanka and the LTTE.

It featured video evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity captured on mobile phones by both victims and perpetrators.

Screened at the UN in Geneva and New York and also shown to politicians at the House of Commons, the European Parliament and key figures in the US Senate, the video ‘Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields’ prompted comment from leading political figures around the world, including British Prime Minister David Cameron.

The follow-up film, Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished, forensically examines four specific cases and investigates who was responsible.

The cases are: the deliberate heavy shelling of civilians and a hospital in the ‘No Fire Zone’; the strategic denial of food and medicine to hundreds and thousands of trapped civilians – defying the legal obligation to allow humanitarian aid into a war zone; the killing of civilians during the ‘rescue mission’ and the systematic execution of naked and bound LTTE prisoners – featuring new chilling video footage of a 12-year-old boy who has been brutally executed.

Let’s wait to see another ” glorifed animated cartoon” wonder f these LOOSers will have balls to produce such dramas of their masers’ crimes that actually are “reall”!!

  2. I think the government of Sri lanka should send another delegation to London to protest against Channel 4. President should ask both Wimal and Champika to organise a country wide protest against British Government. These LTTE supporters on foreign countries are giving lot of money to buy these false propaganda against our country. Our soldiers are nice people. They did not kill one innocent Tamil people. All the Tamil people are killed by LTTE. Gothabaya, Sharvendra and Sarath Fonsek will never harm people. They are very nice people. Gothabaya is a very nice man. How could anybody claim these people are bad? White van abductions and killing of journalists are LTTE work to tarnish the image of the country, Our country under MR’s rule respect human rights and the law and order is working very well. Who can blame us?

Mr. Chinthaga! you forgot the best man for your protest against british govt.! The one &only Vermin Silva!!! Could you please explain us what the British Govt. have to do with c4? Do you think the media in that country are run by govt. as in your wonderland, where everybody in govt. are innocent nice people and every bad thing is done by none existing L.T.T.E.? Wake up and face the reality,

The tigers were the worlds worst terrorist organization and they behaved like one. This does not mean that the government of Sri Lanka should behave like the terrorists.

Here goes again!! To co-inside with the UNHRC sessions, well done channel4, you must have been very heavily paid by the desperate Tamil diaspora with LTTE blood money; I am sure your biggest income must be from spreading cheap & dangerous lies around the world for a living eh? Be aware C4, what happened to that Lady reporter of your country, who was a master in spreading lies about 3rd world countries. and the wars in those countries, created by the so called 1st world, for profit; She paid the price in Syria, God’s watching all devious, malicious liars like you, and would swoop on you like an eagle from heaven and drag you to hell!!

If you have such evidence as false information about third world, against Mary Collins, why dont you publish some of them? We would very much like to see them! According to your theory all the brave journelists who sacrified their lives in danger zones, must have been liars and malicious people. If thats all the work of YOUR GOD, I spit on him too!!!

Anybody in their right mind can see that the human rights situation in SL continues to get from bad to worse even after the crushing of the terrorists.
One can see no difference between the terrorists and the so called government of SL. Recently Ravi Karunanayake said in parliament, that it was sad that terrorists like Karuna & Douglas are in the parliament while a true war hero like SF is languishing in prison.

Chanel 4 film stars produce yearly film to show to their masters to keep them happy and get their donation to run the bankrupt channels
Once this is over they will find another country or incident. They need to live on peoples blood and sweat. We condemn this idiotic act

funny thing is this film target UNHRC – March / Sept ::
it shows the bad intention of them . International community need peacefull solution in Sri Lanka where it was exist currently and to maintain , they should not encourage this kind of stupit film shows.
