Great idea! Long overdue! Decades ago this was a plan proposed by the Late Dr. Ananda Tissa de Alwis, one personality behind the master plan for Tourism in Sri Lanka.
If however one aspect must be taken into account;Tourists arriving from various destinations have already made their plans., specially in the case of those making use of package deals etc.
Tourism information about Sri Lanka in some parts of the world are still lacking and infact totally absent.
Taking into account the promotional budgets that have been allocated and different projects and promotions that have been undertaken hardly any significance in North America region.
Some dedicated Sri Lankans living in these parts are silently but sincerely doing their bit to promote Sri Lanka; but they are not aware that there is a Toursm Board in Sri Lanka.

This is a serious comment !

Beware of using the free internet booths at the Airport. If you do, make sure you have the best possible security applications in your own computer or the next time you log on to your own P.C. you will find some unwelcome visitors trying to ‘get-in’.

Do not open any personal files –especially your email.

The problem with a couple of people here is that they create there own alternative reality (like the western media and western governments) and they assume that the rest of us will accept that world as reality.
