Government blames Manmohan
The government today said that a statement made by Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in the Indian parliament just before the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) took the vote on the resolution on Sri Lanka last week, resulted in several countries voting against Sri Lanka.
External Affairs Minister G.L Peiris however said that relations between Sri Lanka and India or even Sri Lanka’s ties with the U.S or the UN will not be affected by the outcome of the UNHRC vote.
“India’s stand drastically affected the arithmetic of the vote,” the External Affairs Minister said.
The Indian Premier, in a statement made in the Indian Parliament just days before the UNHRC met to vote on the resolution on Sri Lanka, said that India will be compelled to back the resolution.
Minister Peiris said that the statement swayed the final vote in favor of the resolution.
However he said that the resolution is not binding as it was not one adopted by the UN Security Council. He said that Sri Lanka was merely objecting to the internationalization of a domestic issue.
Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe meanwhile rejected the idea that a “blunder” made by him before the vote, where he had said India will support Sri Lanka, resulted in India being forced to change its mind and vote against Sri Lanka.
Samarasinghe said that he made the statement saying India will support Sri Lanka as India had openly said so on two occasions just before the vote.
However he said the final outcome will not hurt Sri Lanka’s relations with India.

If you are compelled to vote against the Evil, then you are still Evil. Go to RIver Ganga, now and have good dip to wash your Sin. Most of the Buddhists in Eelam/Hela are praying 10 times a day for their Sin.

Another resolution for India to create independent states is not far. Let us vote in favor of Kashmir, TamilNadu and other Hyderabad states. Let the Indian Central Government help Tamil Nadu to create the so called Tamil Ealam in Tamul Nadu.
All these dirty politicians are playing games with us & our lives. Manmohan Singh & our regime’s big shots are thick pals & partners in crime. These are all dramas staged to confuse people of both countries and cannot be taken seriously.
