The Sunday Leader

A one man show?

A new police post was set up at the National Museum in Colombo as a result of the recent robbery at the premises where several priceless artifacts were stolen. A lone police officer is seen here manning the police post with hardly any security equipment when The Sunday Leader visited the Museum last Friday.

Should’t be surprised at all because the current government does not have adequate security manpower in hand nor the needed security equipment to fulfill any of these requirements…………. Reason = they are all in the position of the underworld and only being used for their well being and protection……………………..

It isn’t far from now when the things might change in the day to day lifestyle of this islands people, very soon the general innocent public will have no other option but to take care of their own safety…. therefore the law will no longer be what it used to be in future.

It is a case of locking the stables after the horse has bolted anyway.
