Singapore Leads On Penultimate Day – Sri Lanka Beats India in Team Race

 

• IODA Asian Championship in Trincomalee

The Singapore contingent were in the lead on the penultimate day of the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) Asian Optimist Championship being held in Trincomalee.
The trio of Jia Yi Low, Elisa Yuki Yokoyama and Jessica Goh Kai Ling headed the field of nearly 80 competitors from across Asia, Oceania and North America on Friday.
In the team racing events the Sri Lanka team defeated the Indian team in the round robin event.
