Help Little Sandaru With His Bone Marrow Transplant

Sandaru Nethmina Ratnayake is the only child of R. M. C. N. Ratnayake and Rajika Subhashini Ariyadasa. He is a Grade 4 student at Dharamadarshi Vidyalaya in Kadawatha and suffers from a blood cancer. He has been receiving chemotherapy treatments for more than 4 years from National Cancer Institute Maharagama.

In accordance with the recommendation of chief paediatrician (oncology) of the National Cancer Institute, Dr (Mrs.) Damayanthi Peiris, the parents have to take him to Apollo Hospital in Chennai, India for a Bone Marrow Transplantation.

The cost for this treatment will be about 11 million Sri Lankan rupees (4.5 million Indian rupees). Therefore the parents kindly request a donation from the public to take their only son to India for treatment.
