Police Navy Unit Raid Near Kelaniya And Bolgoda

The police said that its navel unit carried out raids near the Kelaniya and Bolgoda River where factories dump various kinds of chemical waste.
Boats were used to access the most difficult areas along both rivers and raids were carried out at several locations, the police media unit said. The police said that raids were carried out Palliyawatte, Peliyagoda, Kospelane and Moratu Modara.
Accordingly the police c arried out 6 raids in Palliyawatte, 7 raids in Peliyagoda, 14 in Kospelane and 7 in Moratu Modara.
The police said that similar raids will be carried out in other parts of the country as well in order to ensure the environment is kept clean. (ER)
