An Executive Lunch Buffet At Ramada On Busiest Days

The Ramada Colombo introduces new executive buffet at the Gardenia Coffee Shop
July 2012, Colombo: This July the Ramada Colombo’s sleek Gardenia Coffee shop is introducing its new ‘Executive Lunch Buffet’ to cater to the corporates of bustling Colombo who are looking for a place to meet or need to catch a bite on the run. A supple delight served from noon to 3pm the buffet’s menu included a DIY salad bar and a live pasta action station. The spread is specially catered to take time into consideration and the dishes on offer will allow busy executives to enjoy a quick meal on days when work is pressing.
The Ramada’s central location, near Galle Face, is close to Colombo’s central business district which makes it convenient  for lunch meetings and a specially designed menu has also been created to appeal to your wallet.
Ramada’s Food and Beverage Manager, Lasantha De Silva, commented on the menu saying, “We understand the needs of today’s business people, and the value of your time. But a hectic day should not prevent you from enjoying a great lunch. That is why we have devised our menu with time in mind, so that our patrons can enjoy a delicious meal even on their busiest days.”

2012 Susan George Pulimood Memorial Oration, Visakha Vidyalaya On July 23

The Annual Susan George Memorial Oration of Visakha Vidyalaya, will be held this year on Monday, July 23,  at 5.15 p.m. in the Jeremias Dias Hall of the school.
This year, the Oration will be delivered by Prof.  Gita Fernando, Founder Professor of Pharmacology and Head of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenapura, Hony. Secretary Drugs Evaluation sub- committee (DESC) Ministry of Health & Chairperson SLMA Drugs Committee.
The subject of the oration will be ‘Marvels of Modern Medicine’.
