Hits Of The 70s

The Rereation Club of B.D. Partners in assoiciation with Annesley Malawana will present a grand musical show titled Hits of 70’s on 4th August at Kularatne Hall, Ananda College Colombo starting at 7p.m.
The 70’s concept is the brainchild of Annesley Malawana who presented the first STARS OF 70’s show in 1997 at St. Joseph’s College Auditorium to a record crowd of over 3,000 people. Since then Annesley never looked back and continues to present STARS OF 70’S every year to packed audiences. He has taken this show to Canada and most recently to Australia last February where the response was really great.
Although STARS OF 70’S is confined only to group songs, HITS OF 70’S which is organized by the Recreation Club of B.D. Partners will feature a mix of artistes of 70’s and 80’s. The artistes performing for the show on 4th August are: Annesley Malawana, Anil Bhareti, Dalreen Suby, Mariazelle Gunetileke, Errol Fernando, Keerthie Pasqual and Christine Fernando.
Musical backing for all artistes will be provided by Annesley & Super Chimes and the aance acts by Pradeepa Ariyawansa Dance Troupe.
As always the evergreen and ever popular Vijaya Corea will be the MC.
70’s fans will be treated to a fun filled evening of music, song and dance on 4th August at Kularatne Hall, Ananda College starting at 7pm where the HITS OF 70’S will come alive and as always a full house is expected.
