No Olympics for Susie Girl

President Mahinda Rajapaksa bumped into Olympic medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe recently and was surprised to note that she was not in London. He asked her why she was not at the Olympics and Susie girl said that she had not been invited.  Nine officials and 7 competitors went to London from Sri Lanka. When The Sunday Leader contacted the Chairman of the National Olympics Committee, Hemasiri (who was also in Colombo and not in London) said he was not amused. “Susanthika is with the Athletics Association. If she wanted to go they are the ones who should have spent for her,” he said.
