Anika Seneviratne Wins Under 10 Tennis

Third seed Anika Seneviratne maintained her consistent form this year winning the under 10 National Tennis tournament conducted at the SLTA beating Neyara Weerawansa (2nd seed ) 9/1 in the final on Saturday at the SLTA courts.
On the way to the title she beat Navodi Fernando 9/0 Anjaleeka Kuruea 9/1 Oshini Hearath 9/0 and Top seed Rashini Hasara 9/3. This was Anika’s third consecutive win this year in the under 10 age group.
There were 32 entries for the under 10’s and the Nationals were sponsored by Airtel this year.
