Two Lists For Korean Jobs: Political And Ordinary

By Indika Sri Aravinda

Application forms to sit the examination to select candidates for employment in Korea have been given under two categories. One through MPs and the other for ordinary applicants.
“The applications under this scheme was issued from August 20 to 25 at 30 centres established island wide,” said the Foreign Employment Bureau (FEB). According to Amal Senadhilankara, FEB Chairman, the listing has been done on the instructions of Dilan Perera, Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion. “However, it’s not very clear. It’s possible that the move is to give priority to the supporters of politicians,” he said.  Senadhilankara added that all applicants sit the exam together and as a result, different listings would have little effect on the final selections.
