Party leader Ranil Wickremasinghe promised “radical reforms” to the party, which has recently seen growing internal tensions.

Develop policies that they will implement when they come to power.
They should address —–(1)Reconciliation with minorities (2) Making all 3 languages official (3) Setting up a council for Priests(any religion) similar to Medical council for the doctors
(4) Judicial and Media freedom
(5) setting up a strong anti corruption body
(6) Only the Politicians who have clean record should contest election
(7) Military should not be used for civilian administration
(8) code and conduct rules for Security forces–police,army,navy, airforce
(9) Encourage unity from childhood in schools
(10) Education free of political interference
The UNP’s policies are ‘Oppose everything the PA Government supports’. The PA Governments policies are ‘Oppose everything the UNP proposes’. That’s how they have run the nation since 1948.
