Parliamentarian Duminda Silva will be arriving in Sri Lanka during the latter part of this month, sources from his office said.
An official from Silva’s office, who did not want to be named, said that Silva would resume politics upon arriving in the island, and several key projects to be headed by the MP are already underway.
Silva has been engaging with the public through his various profiles on the social networking site facebook, which also featured pictures of a healthy Silva in a gymnasium, uploaded during the last week of July this year.
Silva, who sustained serious head injuries during a shootout with Presidential Advisor Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra, is one of the accused of Premachandra’s death.
