India Must Inform INTERPOL On KP – Police

By Indika Sri Aravinda

The Police say the warrant issued on Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP) by INTERPOL can only be withdrawn by India and not Sri Lanka.
Police Spokesman SSP Priyashantha Jayakody told The Sunday Leader that there is no police investigation on KP.
He noted that the charges against the former LTTE chief arms procurer were filed in India and not Sri Lanka.
“We cannot ask INTERPOL to remove the warrant on KP. That can be done only by India,” he said.

UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena had last week written to the Police Chief requesting him to provide all the required information on KP as the INTERPOL warrant is still in place. He said that there is enough evidence against KP to investigate him.
Meanwhile the UNP is to raise in Parliament the issue regarding the alleged release of KP.
UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake said that it was shocking to note government reports that there is no evidence to produce KP in court.
“It is a known fact that he helped the LTTE kill policemen and civilians. Why is he being allowed to go free? Has he bought over the government? We, who follow democratic practices, are being taken to court but he is not,” Karunanayake said.
Last year in Parliament the government had said that Kumaran Pathmanathan was being investigated and a report on the investigations will be submitted to Parliament. An INTERPOL warrant was also issued for the arrest of KP over his alleged involvement in the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Pathmanathan was arrested in 2009 in Malaysia and has been in Sri Lankan government custody. He has since extended support to the government and is now involved in humanitarian work.

How can we send our future Minister for North, unless we throw away the 13 amendment.
Anyway Indian longterm objective is to decimate North, their nuke plant is aiming north!

For future we need these ex-LTTE to use against Tamil Nadu and India. These LTTE are capable of these things and they proved also, killing ex-Indian Prime Minister, Rajivi Gandhi. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister informed to India’s central government not to trained Sri Lankan Airforce men. May be she knew one day Sri Lankan Airforce men will targetting Tamil Nadu Nuclear Plants with the help of ex-LTTE who are living in Tamil Nadu. Now, Sri Lankan airforce men training in Pakistan . Pakistan knows in 1971 they lost East Pakistan , during that time Pakistan not having Nuclear Weapons. If Pakistan had Nuclear Weapons before 1971 there is no Bangladesh also

The entire democatic World is aware that the corrupt, lawless Banana Republic (former democtratic Sri Lanka) protects the murderers, criminals, rapists, drug dealers and TERRORISTS (who share their wealth with the corrupt Leaders). Since this is the only Nation in the entire Universe that imprissoned the war Hero on false charges using Kangaroo Courts and became Jokers dinning and dancing with Terrorists, finding KP the current LTTE Leader innocent is nothing surprising.

  3. India can not only decimate North, but also South or even the whole country called Sri Lanka if they want to, especially with their nuke reactor capability near North.. Then no srilanka, no true sri lankan buddhism, no racial riots and it will be peace, dead silence like hiroshima after WWII.That might wipe a race called Sri Lankan Tamils only in Sri Lanka , but they are thriving in other countries. Then what will happen to the majority race called Sinhalese ? very unpredictable and do we need all this calamity ? If some one is asking for what can we do ?!! Just face the consequences. There is a god above watching everything. No one is supreme except the God almighty.
