Rape in our backyard
While the dust over the rape and murder of a young girl in India was yet to settle, a demonstration was held in Ma’ndaitheevu, Jaffna last Thursday protesting the murder and alleged rape of a 4 year old girl in the area. The Jaffna media reported that the child Chudarini Gunasegaram, was reported missing from her house at Ma’ndaitheevu on December 27 and her body was later found in an abandoned well. The picture shows school mates of the victim demanding a safe future for them during the protest.

i make an appeal to all the parents of the children not to believe any person or circumstances. the children and others are ruined by the internet access. What they want is a practical experiment. Especially the mothers beware!
LTTE would have done a quick job of executing all the males on the area, except of course their members. Delay in justice is the price you have to pay for Democracy not Kangaroo courts!
If the offender is a civilian 100 pins to be put into his body, 500 pins if he or they are military men. Sorry I do not believe in death penalty.
This is a quiet Island. Nothing can happen there without the people in the area knowing as they know each other & their children.
Hope a caste issue has no hand in this.
Further nothing can happen here without the knowledge of the re4sidents there.
