Talks Between Somawansa And Seelarathana

A secret discussion has reportedly taken place between former Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader Somawansa Amarasinghe and Janasetha Permuna leader Battaramulle Seelarathana thero.

At this meeting they have discussed the forthcoming General Election and the prevailing political situation of the country, sources said.

It is learnt that Amarasinghe has agreed to carry out his future political activities with the Janasetha Peramuna. Asked for a comment in this regard, the leader of the Janasetha Peramuna, the Venerable Seelarathana thero confirmed that a meeting took place but refused to divulge the details.

He also said that his party has invited former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to join the party, but they have not received a positive response.

    It is becoming true that to become a politician no brain is needed and no retirement for them.Otherwise why the employees retire at 65 because their cerebellum and cerebrum shows signs of reduced performance and …….. for politicians even without the whole brain they would be as politicians…
