MP Secretary Accused Of Demanding Sexual Bribe

A secretary of a Member of Parliament (MP) in the North has been accused of demanding sexual bribes from women in order to get their work done.

Social media was abuzz with the purported Facebook conversation between the secretary of a Tamil National Alliance MP and a woman.

The woman in the conversation asks for a letter from the secretary to give her husband.

The secretary says he is prepared to obtain the letter from the MP provided she meets him in a hotel room for a night.

The woman then says that she is not prepared to go to that level to obtain the letter.

The secretary says he will give the letter only if he meets her in the room and that even her husband will not hear about it.

The secretary has however denied that such a conversation took place.

Time for that idiot to get out of his office sooner the better.women should not reel low to meet idiots like him in public service or any service that serves public

  2. Why should the MPS letters re dependent on for anything in this country. Is it a duty for the MPS. In democracies MPs duties are limited to approving budget proposals and over-seeing whether these approvals are carried out by the executive. In our country everything from the delivery of a child to the coffin needs a bloody letter from a MP. Is this the yahapalanaya. Just by doing away with political letters the traffic congestion in Colombo and around can be reduced by 15%.People must discuss a program consisting not of promises but of exact action ;programs covering all subjects such as education, health, public security, public health, local governnment that will distance the politician from interference in day to day administration of the life of the people. For instance the issue of Dengue and the garbage dump at Kolonnawa are problems coming under the purview of Local Government bodies. They have no resources . They are not empowered to doi so.because the power of the area MP will be reduced. In developed countries it is the Local Government that undertakes all activities relating to the comfort and convenience of the public.
