SLFP Faction To Demand Divorce From UNP

A group of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) members, including some Ministers and Deputy Ministers are to demand an end to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United National Party (UNP).

The two year MoU between the SLFP and UNP expires in August this year and there is a move to extend the agreement.

However sources said that a group of SLFP members in the government are to demand that the MoU should not be extended.

UNP General Secretary Kabir Hashim and SLFP General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake signed the MoU on behalf of the two parties in 2015. - (AW)

FROM THIS SLFP MEMBERS MOVE WE UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE ALL SUPPORTING THE MURDERER / ROBBER JARAPAKSA WHILE STAYING WITH PRES MS. WHAT A CONSPIRACY , HYPOCRASY. WHY NOT PRES MS UNDERSTAND THIS TYPE OF SELF KILLING EATING IN THE SAME PLATE AND CUTTING UNDERGROUND

  2. The idea is to bring MR to the helm. I am sure if the MOU is not extended after August all the JO members will get into the government. Then it is easy for them to rob the country. MS is not a fool to listen to this. Well, we have another 3 months time.
