Arjun Aloysius, Kasun Palisena arrested over treasury bond scam

BREAKING NEWS Sunday, Feb. 4 (The Sunday Leader) — The owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kasun Palisena were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today over the treasury bond scam.

Aloysius and Palisena had been named by the CID together with former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran as the prime suspects in the scam.

Following the arrest, Aloysius and Palisena were taken to the CID Headquarters to be questioned.

Mahendran is currently in Singapore.

    What about the chief crook, Arjun Mahendran and HIS friends in the GOSL, some who are high ranking too!. All of them need to be arrested without delay. Well done Mr President. MM
