Maithri Gunaratne arrested with guns and later granted bail

Former United National Party (UNP) member Maithri Gunaratne was arrested with two guns on Saturday but was later granted bail. Gunaratne was arrested by the Kadugannawa police while having in his possession two guns. He was produced before the Kandy Magistrate and granted bail after he submitted the licence for the two guns.
