talks to be postponed
THE seventh round of peace
talks scheduled from Tuesday, April 29 to Friday, May 2 is expected to
be postponed, The Sunday Leader reliably learns.
The talks were to be held in
Bangkok, Thailand, but due to the outbreak of SARS in the region it was
initially decided to shift the venue to Norway in view of LTTE Chief
Negotiator Anton Balasingham's sensitive health condition.
